Client FAQ.

Common questions about our managed services and pricing models.

What do I get with the $99/month Managed Website plan?

Think of it as having a long-term technical partner for your website. We take care of hosting, SSL security, software updates, daily backups, performance monitoring, and ongoing content updates. You don’t have to worry about maintenance, technical issues, or keeping things up to date; we handle that side so you can stay focused on your business. This would normally cost significantly more if paid for upfront or handled by multiple vendors.

How long does it take to launch my website?

Most Managed Website builds are completed and launched within 1–3 weeks, depending on the size of the site and how quickly content is provided.

What do you need from me to get started?

We'll guide you through a simple onboarding process to collect content, branding, and any required logins. If you need help preparing content, we can walk you through that as well.

Are SEO and mobile optimization included?

Yes. All sites are mobile-optimized and built with SEO best practices in mind, including clean structure, fast load times, and proper metadata.

What happens if my website goes down or something breaks?

If an issue comes up, we handle it. The Managed Website plan includes monitoring, backups, and recovery, so if something breaks or goes offline, we'll restore it and get things running again as quickly as possible.

What counts as a content update?

Content updates are included and designed to keep your site current. This typically includes things like text edits, pricing changes, image swaps, and posting new content (up to 2 update requests per month).

Update requests are handled sequentially to keep turnaround times predictable. Most update requests are completed within 1–2 business days.

Larger changes, such as adding e-commerce, redesigning the layout, or building custom functionality, are treated as separate projects and quoted individually so expectations stay clear.

Can you add online booking or appointments to my website?

Yes. We can embed third-party booking services directly into your website so clients can schedule appointments seamlessly.

In fact, we usually recommend using established third-party booking platforms. They're reliable, secure, and purpose-built for scheduling, payments, reminders, and calendar syncing. These are things that are difficult and costly to recreate from scratch.

You'll own and control the booking account, while we handle the setup, customization, and website integration so everything looks and feels like part of your site.

Do I own my domain name?

Yes, always. Your domain name is registered in your name and belongs to you.

If you’d like, we can register the domain on your behalf to make setup easier. In that case, the domain cost is billed to you at cost as a separate annual fee. You’re also welcome to register the domain yourself and simply grant us access.

If you ever decide to move on, we’ll transfer or release the domain to your own registrar account at no charge.

Is there a minimum commitment?

Yes. New Managed Website builds have a 6-month minimum commitment.

This allows us to design and build your custom website without requiring a large upfront payment. After the first 6 months, the plan becomes month-to-month, and you can cancel at any time.

If you cancel before the 6 months are complete, an early termination fee of 50% of the remaining balance applies.

What happens if I cancel?

If you cancel after the initial 6 months, your website stays live through the end of your billing cycle and is then taken offline.

If you cancel during the initial 6-month commitment, the early termination fee mentioned above applies.

In all cases, you retain full ownership of your domain and content, and you're welcome to reactivate the site or transfer it elsewhere whenever you'd like.

There are no hidden fees or surprises beyond what's outlined above.

Can I switch from the Managed Plan to a Standalone Build later?

Absolutely. Some clients start with the Managed Plan to keep upfront costs low and later decide they want full ownership and self-hosting.

If you choose to convert, you can purchase a Standalone Build for the standard price of $1,699, but as a thank-you for your time with us, we apply a loyalty credit of $100 for each month you've been subscribed, capped at $500.

The Managed plan is designed for ongoing support, while the Standalone Build is priced for full ownership from day one.

This approach keeps things fair by rewarding long-term subscribers, keeping ownership pricing consistent, and letting you choose what works best as your business grows.

Once converted, we package the full site and hand over all files, credentials, and documentation.

Which option is right for me?

The Managed Website plan is ideal if you want:

  • A professional website with minimal upfront cost
  • Ongoing support and maintenance handled for you
  • Predictable monthly pricing

The Standalone Build is a better fit if you want:

  • Full ownership from day one
  • To manage hosting and updates yourself
  • A one-time purchase with no subscription

If you’re unsure, we’re happy to help you choose the option that makes the most sense for your situation.
